Cannonsburg Challenged Ski Association

Cannonsburg Challenged Ski Association (CCSA) provides an opportunity for all individuals with disabilities to build skills, develop independence, gain confidence, improve fitness and achieve a sense of accomplishment through snow sports.

Capability Health – Adult Campus, Capability & Career Exploration Center – North Las Vegas Campus

Our Capability and Career Exploration Center program provides the opportunity for adults with physical and/or intellectual limitations and varying skill levels to gain experience to work towards gaining employment opportunities in the community or onsite at our facility. Individuals have the opportunity to earn a paycheck in the program making minimum wage. Capability Health Trainers either meet them at the community site or transports them to the worksite.

Our S.T.E.P.S program provides assistance with acquisition, retention, and improvement of self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills, including performing activities needed for daily and community living. Activities and environments are designed to foster the acquisition of skills such as building positive social behavior and interpersonal competence, greater independence, and personal choice.

Enhance the capabilities and enrich the lives of the clients and patients we serve by providing urgently needed healthcare, human services and opportunities for social and community engagement to Nevadans with special needs.
