United Way for Southeast Michigan 2-1-1

Michigan 2-1-1 is a free service that connects Michigan residents with help and answers from thousands of health and human services agencies and resources right in their communities—quickly, easily, and confidentially. What’s more, we use statistical data (not personally identifiable information) from calls and web visits to help shed a light on the nature of social needs in Michigan for government officials and decision-makers across the state.

As part of a network of 629 Area Agencies nationwide and one of 28 in the state of Texas, we are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our Tarrant County community and empowering people to thrive independently.

University of Michigan Adaptive & Inclusive Sports Experience (UMAISE)

The University of Michigan Adaptive and Inclusive Sports Experience (UMAISE) aims to enhance the physical, social and emotional development for people with disabilities by providing quality, local and low-cost sports and recreation opportunities throughout the lifespan.

University of Michigan Council for Disability Concerns

The University of Michigan Council for Disability Concerns works towards creating a community that respects disability, honors individual needs, and makes everything accessible. We were founded in 1983 by then University President Harold Shapiro, with the original charge to act in an advisory capacity regarding University programs and policies affecting people with disabilities. Today, the Council has over 300 members on its mailing list and includes U-M staff, faculty, students, and alumni from all campuses, as well as community members from Southeastern Michigan. University of Wyoming Paratransit Services

The University of Wyoming paratransit service is available to individuals that are unable to ride the fixed route due to a disability. Eligibility is determined through the Transit and Parking Services office. Trips can be scheduled for any purpose within Laramie’s city limits.
