San Juan Center for Independence is a community based non-profit agency that was established by people with disabilities for people with disabilities. The Agency serves as a consumer driven community action program that provides services which help maximize independent living choices for all people regardless of the individual’s disability.

The Sandra Beasley Independent Living Center is a 501 (C)3, non-profit organization, funded by the Department of Education. We were established in 1987 for the purpose of assisting adults with disabilities in their efforts to remain independent in their homes and fully integrated into their communities. We provide skills training, emergency intervention, socialization and a myriad of other services that help promote independence and overall well-being for the individuals and their family members.
