Metro Share

The Metro Share Program is a specialized service providing vehicles to approved agencies serving seniors and individuals with disabilities at no cost. Approved agencies include governmental organizations, non-profits serving seniors and individuals with disabilities, and others approved by Metro.

MI Bridges

MI Bridges is a streamlined online application for various public assistance programs, including health care coverage through the Healthy Michigan Plan, food assistance, child development and care, cash assistance, and state emergency relief. Registering for an account allows you to apply for benefits, check the status of your case, and explore other resources specific to your location, needs, and circumstances.

MiABLE

The Michigan Able Act (2015), authorized states to establish tax-advantaged savings programs for individuals with a disabilities. The goal is to encourage and assist individuals and families in saving funds that help individuals with disabilities to maintain health, independence and quality of life without jeopardizing benefits provided through private insurance, Supplemental Security Income, Medicaid, the beneficiary’s employment and other sources.

A MiABLE account must be used for “qualified disability expenses” that relate to the beneficiary’s blindness or disability and benefit the person in maintaining or improving his or her health.

Michael Feger Paralysis Foundation

The Michael Feger Paralysis Foundation was founded in 2010. Our mission is to help people who have paralysis in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. We provide assistance and educational materials to people affected by spinal cord injury and related diseases.

Michigan Adaptive Sports

Michigan Adaptive Sports (MAS) is a chapter of Disabled Sports USA, a non-profit, tax-exempt educational organization established for the purpose of providing sports, recreation and physical fitness opportunities for persons with disabilities.

Main point of access for long-term supports and services for older adults and people with disabilities.
