ADRC North connects seniors, people with disabilities, and caregivers with long-term care services and supports in their communities.

The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Broward County plans, develops, coordinates, and evaluates programs; funds services; and is the prime advocate for residents of Broward County, Florida,

ADRC provides a central source of information about a broad range of programs and services offered for individuals who disabilities or who are aging. By enabling people to find resources in their communities, ADRCs help people maintain self-sufficiency and delay or prevent the need for potentially expensive long-term care

Provides transportation to and from medical appointments.

Plans, coordinates, and advocates for a comprehensive service delivery system for older adults, family caregivers, and people with disabilities.

Promote dignity, independence, and advocacy for older adults, persons with disabilities, and their caregivers.

Works with and through community organizations to administer a wide range of services for adults 60 and over and people with disabilities.

Assist communities in establishing a full range of services, which allow older persons to live in the most independent manner possible.

Provide information and assistance to connect seniors, adults with disabilities, their families and caregivers with the tools needed to maximize their independence and safety in their chosen community.

Provide quality services to enhance the health, safety, and well-being of persons, age 60 and over, enabling them to live in their own homes for as long and independently, as possible.
